NE Series 4-Axis CNC — Built In Grandville, MI
A purpose-built wood door CNC machine for the commercial door distributor. Feed-through design. CNC-positioned fixture. 4-axis spindle that handles sizing, beveling, trimming, easing, and every common hinge, lock, light, sweep, peep, and closure — including underneath work within 6″ of the edge, no flipping required.
One Machine. One Door At A Time. All Of It.
The NE was designed around the way distributors actually work — load, machine, unload, next. Not around a generic CNC chassis with door software bolted on.
Feed-through layout, pop-up rollers, removable vacuum pods, a center rail for splitting. A 4-axis spindle and a programming environment built on drop-down menus and hardware libraries — so an operator can program a door without writing G-code.
The CNC-controlled fixture adjusts to door width automatically. Reference stops handle overhanging laminates. Pop-up rollers make loading and unloading a one-person job. Vacuum pods come out when you need to through-cut.
Sizing, beveling, trimming, easing. Most styles of hinges and locks. Lights, sweeps, peeps, closures. Underneath machining within six inches of the edge — without flipping the door.
The 3D perimeter software ships with libraries for common hardware. New operators are running parts in a fraction of the time it takes on a general-purpose CNC.
Design, Program, Cut — One Stack
Door distributors usually run CAD, CAM, and CNC as three separate problems with three different vendors. The NE comes with all three stitched together.
A design lands in DoorCreator. EGTcam turns it into toolpaths without anyone touching G-code. The NE cuts the door. One vendor, one phone call when something breaks.
Built Around The Door, Not The Part
A general-purpose CNC fixtures a piece of material. The NE fixtures a door — with all of the quirks that come with one.
Special Door Fixture
Every item to the right is standard equipment. No upcharge to handle the things that make door work hard.

01
CNC-Positioned Width AdjustmentFixture rails reposition under CNC control. Changes between door widths are automatic — no shimming, no manual setup between jobs.
-
02
Overhanging-Laminate Reference StopsReference stops designed to register against the substrate, not the laminate overhang. Square, every time.
-
03
Pop-Up Loading RollersLoad and unload without lifting. One operator can run the machine on standard door weights.
-
04
Removable Vacuum PodsPods pull out for through-cutting operations. Back in for everything else.
-
05
Center Rail for SplittingSplits a pair of doors on the fixture so you can run them as one cycle.
-
06
48″ × 120″ EnvelopeDesigned for standard commercial door sizes up to oversized openings — without a custom fixture order.
-
07
Full Hardware CatalogSizes, bevels, trims. Hinges, locks of every common style, lights, sweeps, peeps, closures. If it’s standard hardware, there’s a library entry for it.

What Makes a Wood Door CNC Machine Different
A wood door CNC machine is not a general-purpose router with door software bolted on. The NE Series was built from the table up around the way doors actually move through a manufacturing line: feed-through, single setup, every operation in one cycle. The drilling units, the cutting head, the work-holding pneumatics — all sized for door geometry, not adapted from a generic CNC chassis.
Drilling, Mortising, Beveling — In One Pass
The right wood door CNC machine handles all primary door operations in a single setup: hinge mortising, lock prep, lite cutout, edge profiling, and through-boring for hardware patterns. The NE Series brings 11 independent drilling units and 16 tool positions to bear in a single cycle. Production door manufacturers measure cycle time per door, not per operation, and a purpose-built design removes minutes per piece compared to general CNC adapted to doors.
